Basilique Notre-Dame de Genève, Switzerland (1852-1857)
A couple of friends and I applied for and were offered a travel grant to visit CERN in Geneva, which we went on a few weeks ago. Being able to have a guided tour around CERN was amazing, the whole trip was such a great experience, and Geneva is a truly beautiful city (albeit having a questionable public transport system).
Of course I dragged my friends to the two cathedrals in Geneva. The Notre Dame is rather obviously a Catholic cathedral. I walked in and was absolutely stunned by the beauty of its lavish decorations and painted vaultings.

Hello dearest followers,
If anyone has heard of/is going to Northern Darkness Festival and likes a bit of old-school death metal, I’d really appreciate it if you guys could have a listen to Nathicana (uk) and “like” Devour on the link to vote for them to play at the festival. Thank you :)

Not the kind of thing I usually post on here, but this is beautiful! Definitely inspiration for a future tattoo…
