Gothic Cathedrals, Hi! I just saw your photo of Cologne Cathedral, Germany after the town was destoyed. Do you have a photo of the town before bombing, precisely I mean the bird’s eye view and all these post-medieval buildings? I remember I saw it once and the view was mind blowing, unfortunately I can’t find it know. P.S. wonderful blog!!!

Hello :) I have done a bit of searching, but I can’t find a bird’s-eye view anywhere. The only pre-bombing photo of Cologne I could find was this:

But it isn’t of the cathedral :/
