I also went to Ely for a day to visit the cathedral. It’s amazing how such a tiny village has one of the largest, most beautiful cathedrals that I have ever seen. Every detail of the building was so intricate and stunning; I found it very hard to put my camera down and just appreciate it. It truly is an incredible cathedral.

I recently went to Cambridge, where I visited a few of the colleges. King’s College Chapel was knows as one of Europe’s finest buildings when it had been completed in 1500s, and it still recognized as one of the most beautiful pieces of Gothic architecture. Despite the fact that it is very small when compared to the size of High Gothic cathedrals, the grandeur and beautiful details of the chapel more than makes up for this.
